Attendance & Pricing Information
We offer parents a wide choice of attendance options from a single am/pm session to 5 full days a week. Children can attend all year round (wrap-around) or term time only (TTO) all places are subject to availability. The nursery operates a waiting list, siblings are given priority.
The nursery is open daily from 7am to 6pm all year round except Bank Holidays, our wrap-around places enable attendance from 7am to 6pm on full days and 7am to 12.30 or 12.30 to 6pm for half day sessions. We do not charge by the hour, the full session/day price is payable regardless of the hours attended.
A limited number of Term Time Only (TTO) places are also provided for children aged 2 years and over. We cannot offer TTO places for babies and young children under 2 years of age due to limited availability of spaces in these age groups. If your required sessions are not listed, please contact the Nursery Manager to discuss your requirements.

How can I use my funded hours?
Funded hours can be used for a variety of attendance options, depending on whether your child
attends all year round (wrap-around) or on a term time only (TTO) basis - see below;
Wrap-around Option:
• For children attending all year round (wrap-around) the funded hours are ‘stretched’ over
the year, this works out at an average of 11hrs a week for 15 hours funding or 22 hours a
week for 30 hrs funding.
• For simplicity, the free entitlement (funded) hours we provide can be taken as either;
• 4 sessions a week (2 free days or 4 x free ams or pms ) for a 30 hr place
• 2 sessions a week (1 free day or 2 x free ams/pms) for a 15 hr place
• Any additional days/hours attended are charged according to our standard price list.
• On wrap-around places there is NO additional charge for meals or consumables on
any day attended.
Term-time Only TTO) Option (subject to availability):
• If a child attends on a TTO basis – approx. 38 weeks a year, parents can use all of their 15
or 30 hours funding allocation each week during the school term dates. We generally use
the Wigan schools’ calendar to set out term time attendance. If you require anything
different, please discuss this with the nursery manager.
• Free sessions can be taken as full days or half days or a combination of both
• Meals and snacks can be provided at £3 per 1⁄2 day session. If parents prefer to provide
their own food, please see Meals/Snacks & Consumables below for more information.
• If additional TTO sessions are required on a regular or occasional basis, these sessions
are charged according to our TTO price list.
• If regular TTO sessions are booked (every week) the meal charges on the funded days are
waived, so the TTO price paid for all days/sessions attended within the week, will include
all meals and snacks.
Meals, Snacks and Consumables – Charges (where applicable):
Wrap-around charges are fully inclusive of meals, snacks and consumable items such as
nappies, wipes, cotton wool, creams etc. Parents may bring their own packed lunch or other
consumables if desired, however the charges remain the same.
15 hr funded sessions – Additional support hrs: For children in receipt of 15 hours additional
support funding, there is no charge for meals etc, attendance is free of charge regardless of
whether they attend TTO or wrap-around.
30 hr TTO funded sessions : Additional charges – Where children attend for just 30 hrs TTO (no
additional sessions) there is a charge of £3 per 1⁄2 day or £6 each full day of attendance for meals
and snacks. TTO parents may wish to provide their own meals (packed lunches) in this case the
meal charge of £3 for each 1⁄2 day session is waived and children may attend their 30 hr funded
sessions totally free of charge. This must be arranged with the management team via the FAMLY
App or in writing at the start of term - it cannot be done on an ad hoc basis.
IMPORTANT - Parents are advised that we are a NUT-FREE setting, due to this and other allergy
and safety considerations, we have a strict policy on the types of food and drink that are allowed
on the premises, if you are bringing in home packed meals we will provide you with a list of foods
that are not permitted on Health & Safety grounds.
Enrichment Activities/Outings etc
From time to the nursery will offer parents the opportunity to take part in enrichment activities
including trips such as panto and farm/zoo visits etc, we also arrange special visitors and a range
of experience activities within the nursery. We strive to ensure that all children are able to take
part in any enrichment activities on offer. Parents are normally asked for a contribution towards
the additional cost of these activities (between 50-70%). However, concessions will be
considered for some children, particularly those in receipt of additional support funding. No
child will be intentionally excluded from taking part in an activity based purely on ability to pay.
